Before the 1917 Russian Revolution it did not have a unified system of unarmed combat. For this reason, a team of experts was commissioned to develop the Army's own combat system. All economic mechanisms were made available to research and develop the best possible combat system. The team of experts traveled the world collecting the most effective techniques of the best-known disciplines at that time, these being: Judo, jiu jitsu, Boxing, Savate and wrestling modalities, which they fused together with the fights indigenous to the USSR, also adding techniques from Olympic disciplines such as Greco-Roman wrestling, wrestling and boxing. Later, at the beginning of the 21st century, the techniques of Muay Thai were integrated. It is aesthetically very similar to Judo and Olympic Wrestling. In competition it is very similar to Judo, with some differences in the Rules and the Uniform. \u00a0Sambo prepares its students for standing and ground fighting. It is a martial art that can be quickly adapted to MMA, and when executed well it can be very dominant due to all the techniques it provides and the pressure it puts on the opponent. It is a discipline that fully integrates the work of the mind and body in a harmonious way. In his practice the athlete must reach a high point of calm and precision, as well as strength and coordination. This with the purpose of causing maximum damage with minimum effort and strain. Sambo Wrestling: Similar to Judo, with a certain Olympic wrestling style. The competition is similar to Judo, but with some differences in rules (eg leg holds), protocol, and uniform.
\u00a0The "Kurtka" jacket is different from the "Keikogis" used in other martial arts since it allows the Sambo practitioner to insert the belt inside, through some eyelets, to prevent the jacket from coming off. The basic equipment of this modality is made up of a jacket (blue or red) called "Kurtka", a belt, shorts of the same color as the jacket and the Sambo shoes, the "Sambovki".<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
